  • The Warriors picked up its sixth consecutive win Wednesday night, dropping Sauk Valley 92-77 at the Hellyer Center to move to 14-1 at home this year.
  • Wednesday night marked the first time three players have scored at least 20 points in a game since Tomas Woldetensae, Tyler Chisom, and Torrey Patton combined for 75 points in a double-overtime win against Iowa Western on January 26, 2019. It's the first time in a regulation game since Jordan Washington, Jerrelle Deberry, and Jordan Furlow combined for 69 points in a 109-105 win over Northeast Community College on February 21, 2015.
  • Chris Mpaka is just three rebounds away from 200 for the season, which, along with Trevion LaBeaux (281 rebounds), would give Indian Hills its first pair of teammates to each record at least 200 rebounds in a season since Torrey Patton and JD Mulia in 2018-19 and just the fourth duo to reach the feat in the last 24 seasons.
  • Davontae Hall, who scored 20 points in a game just once through his first 55 career games, has tallied at least 20 points in a game in three of the team's last four contests and is averaging 18.0 points per game over the team's last six outings.
  • The Warriors are 29-4 against teams whose mascot is a form of a bird over the last four seasons.

LAST TIME OUT

Indian Hills has a quick turnaround heading into Saturday as the Warriors defeated Sauk Valley at home on Wednesday night. Indian Hills avenged an early season loss to the Skyhawks, the team's only loss to a team that has not been ranked in the top-five in the national rankings tihs year.

  • Davontae Hall tied a season-high with 22 points while Kheni Briggs added 21 off the bench and TJ Morris tallied 20 points for the Warriors.
  • Indian Hills posted a season-low five turnovers in the win while recoridng 15 assists on the offensive front.
  • The Warriors tied a season-high with 12 three-point shots made on Wednesday night.

SERIES HISTORY

The Warriors and Blackhawks will square off the for the second time this season after Indian Hills picked up a 70-56 victory in Burlington on January 20. Saturday's meeting will be the 145th all-time matchup between the two teams separated by just 78 miles.

  • The Warriors have won eight of the last 10 matchups in the series, but the Blackhawks won the most recent matchup at the Hellyer Center, a 63-60 decision in last year's NJCAA Region 11 Championship.
  • Three of Indian Hills' last four wins in the series have been by double-digits.
