Oullami Boots Game-Winner to Beat Iowa Central

Oullami

Fort Dodge, Iowa -- Freshman Karim Oullami found the back of the net in the second overtime period allowing Indian Hills to knock off No. 10-ranked Iowa Central 2-1 on the road on Tuesday.

It was Oullami's second goal of the game and snapped Iowa Central's seven-game winning streak.  The Tritons had started the season with a loos and a tie, then reeled off seven consecutive victories, including decisions against conference powers Marshalltown and Iowa Western.

But Oullami, off a feed from David Medeiros, booted the game-winner to send the Warriors home with their third straight win.  IHCC is 6-3-1 overall and 5-2 in the league.

Oullami and Medeiros combined for the first Indian Hills goal, coming in the game's 7th minute.  For Oullami it was his first goal of the season.  His second goal turned out to be huge.

Iowa Central tied the match at 1-1 late in the second half, and the two teams battled through one scoreless overtime session before the IHCC winner.

Matthew Desfossez returned to the Indian Hills net and stopped five Triton shots.

The Warriors have given up just one goal in each of the three games in their current winning streak.

Indian Hills returns to the pitch when they face Hawkeye CC on the road this Saturday.
