WARRIORS CRACK TOP-10 IN NATIONAL POLL

Ottumwa, IA – Following the program's second regular season conference title, the Indian Hills Men's Soccer team climbed to No. 9 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Soccer rankings.

The Warriors defeated then-No. 9 Iowa Western Community College 2-1 in Council Bluffs on Saturday to climb two spots from the team's previous spot at No. 11. Indian Hills received 84 points in this week's ranking and sport a 6-1-5 overall record on the year.

Led by goals from Gustavo Marques (São Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Anglo Indaiatuba) and Lucas Bauer (Oldenburg, Germany/IGS Kreyenbruck), the Warriors topped the Reivers for the second time this season to sweep the regular season conference series. The win propelled the Warriors to host the upcoming NJCAA Midwest District Tournament in Ottumwa November 3-5.

The Warriors have now been ranked in the national rankings through each of the first six regular season polls of the season. Indian Hills joins the top-10 for the first time since the 2017 season.

Indian Hills wraps up its regular season on the road Wednesday afternoon at No. 17 Lewis & Clark College (IL) in Godfrey, IL.
