Indian Hills Community College wrapped up the fall virtual trap dual season last week against an undefeated Hawkeye squad. Hawkeye got the best of IHCC in a final score of 450-470. Freshman Josh Meyer continued his stellar fall season firing a 96, good enough for a men's individual 2nd place finish. Sophomores Alan Carmichael and Drew Appleget, and freshman Trent Rasmussen all shot 89's with sophomore Carson Boyse rounding out our top 5 with an 87.
With last week's loss, Indian Hills finished up thee fall virtual trap season with an overall record of 2-4 and finished 3rd in the east division standings with a 2-2 record in divisional duals.
The Warriors will take a brief hiatus with the weather starting to get cold and winter approaching, and will start back up with practice in late February/early March to prepare for the Iowa SCTP State Tournaments. There will be a dedicated collegiate state skeet & sporting clays tournament this year which will be held the weekend of April 10th, with a location still TBD. State trap will be held on April 17th at the Stockdale Gun Club in Ackley.
