The Warriors (2-0, 2-0) and Panthers (0-3, 0-2) will square off in an Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) dual as the nationally ranked foes look to make a statement in conference action.

  • Indian Hills enters Wednesday's matchup with a 2-0 league record after defeating NIACC and Iowa Lakes.

  • Freshman Riley Bettich has been a force at 125lbs for the Warriors. The latest ICCAC Athlete of the Week has picked up two pins in dual action and secured a first-place finish at the Lindenwood Open.
  • Sophomore Matthew Lewis, ranked No. 3 in the nation at 141lbs, is 2-0 at 149lbs this year with a pin and a major to boast.
  • Sophomore Kawaun Deboe is ranked No. 3 in the heavyweight division for the Warriors.
  • Sophomore Lucas Henderson is off to a strong start this year and is coming off a victory by way of fall against Iowa Lakes.
  • Ellsworth enters the match with four individually ranked wrestlers – No. 3 Kaden Karns (125), No. 3 Diego Isorida (157), No. 2 Miro Khayitov (165), and No. 5 Isaiah Laguna (197).

SERIES HISTORY

The Warriors enter Wednesday's matchup with a 3-0 all-time record vs. the Panthers with three convincing wins. Indian Hills dropped the Panthers 38-4 and 45-9 in the team's inaugural season in 2020-21 and topped Ellsworth 28-17 last season.

Wednesday's matchup will be the second straight matchup where both teams are in the national rankings.
