WARRIORS CLIMB SIX SPOTS IN USTFCCCA POLL

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Women's Track & Field squad climbed six spots in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings to No. 15. The Warriors are also ranked No. 3 in the USTFCCCA Midwest Region rankings.

Indian Hills made a giant leap in the national polls after a strong showing at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita, KS over the weekend. The Warriors sport 125.38 points in this week's poll and currently rank No. 3 in the 200-meter dash event squad rankings, No. 5 in the 100-meter dash rankings, and No. 11 in the 400-meter dash event. The No. 3 rank in the 200m dash is the highest in school history for the Warriors.

The Warriors' 200m average time of 24.65 is headlined by indoor All-American Jahzara Hart (Raleigh, NC/Southeast Raleigh) who opened her outdoor season this past weekend with a personal best time of 24.34, the No. 3 mark in school history. Indian Hills boasts four individuals with sub-25.00 marks.

Shanice Cox (Minneapolis, MN/Minneapolis South) has highlighted the women's 100m squad with a time of 12.05 this year, the fourth-best mark in Indian Hills school history. Adalin Robinson's (Riverdale, MD/Eleanor Roosevelt) mark of 56.18 in the 400m leads the Warriors and also ranks No. 2 all-time in school history.

Sophomore Haleigh Hadley's (Gilbert, IA/Gilbert) efforts in the high jump have aided the Warriors' national ranking as well. The sophomore currently ranks second in the nation with a mark of 1.69m after a national runner-up performance in the indoor season.

Freshman Briana Green (Columbia, SC/Blythewood), who joined the program at the start of the outdoor season, has made an immediate impact in the long jump with a mark of 5.83-meters, the second-most mark in school history. Green's performance ranks sixth in the nation among all-conditions.

Indian Hills will travel to one of the premiere events in the nation with the Kansas Relay this weekend in Lawrence, KS.
