Ottumwa, IA – A pair of Indian Hills Volleyball student-athletes have been recognized for their efforts on the court with Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week honors. Haleigh Hadley (Gilbert, IA/Iowa State) and Jarolin de los Santos (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Luis Munoz Rivera) have received the weekly accolades from the conference.

Hadley and de los Santos powered the No. 11 ranked Warriors to a 3-0 sweep over ICCAC opponent Marshalltown Community College on Wednesday. The win gave the Warriors their 11th consecutive victory and eighth sweep of the season.

Hadley was awarded the Offensive Player of the Week honor after leading the Warriors with a team-high nine kills in the win over Marshalltown, posting a .190 hitting percentage on 21 attempts. The nine kills were tied for the second-most on the season for Hadley.

de los Santos was recognized for her defensive efforts by the conference after totaling six blocks in the match, including four solo stops to help beat the Tigers. de los Santos currently leads the ICCAC in all major blocking categories, including blocks/set at 1.40.

Hadley, de los Santos, and the Warriors are set to host the second-ranked team in the nation in Iowa Western Community College on Wednesday night. First set is scheduled for 7:00 PM at the Hellyer Center and can be seen via www.gohillstv.com
