DALEY PICKS UP SECOND ICCAC HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Precious Daley (Des Moines, IA/Roosevelt) of the No. 15 Indian Hills Volleyball team has been named this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Division I Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week. The honor is the second of the season for Daley.

Daley helped lead the Warriors to a 2-1 record at the inaugural Iowa-Missouri Volleyball Challenge in Marshalltown, IA over the weekend. Indian Hills topped Jefferson College (MO) 3-1 and swept No. 17 Mineral Area College (MO) before falling to No. 8 Missouri State University – West Plains.

Daley made an impact in all three matches for the Warriors with an all-around effort. The sophomore led the entire tournament with 42 total kills and posted the two best single-match kill totals over the course of the nine-match tournament. Daley posted 18 kills against West Plains, 15 against Jefferson, and nine vs. Mineral Area.

The middle blocker was also effective on the defensive front, totaling nine blocks to go along with 26 digs.

Daley currently leads the ICCAC in kills with 177 and hitting percentage at .352 while her 71 total blocks rank second overall.

The Warriors head to Highland, KS for the Highland Triangular on Friday. Indian Hills will take on Highland Community College at 1:00 PM and No. 7 Butler Community College at 3:00 PM
