Michel led the Warriors to region and district championships and a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament.

The Warriors were ranked No. 2 in the nation in five separate polls during the season.

Under Michel, the Warriors posted a 9-2 record vs. nationally ranked teams on the year and picked up 17 victories over teams that appeared in the national rankings during the season, including a season sweep of the two-time defending national champions Iowa Western Community College. Indian Hills posted a 7-0 record both at home and on the road and tallied 25 3-0 sweeps against its opponents this season.

Michel guided four individuals to NJCAA All-Region XI honors including the 2022 Player of the Year in Hennesys Lalane (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Colegio Luis Munox Rivera).

The Warriors will await to find their opponent and seed at the national tournament with an official announcement to come on Thursday, November 10. This year's national tournament will be held at the West Plains Civic Center.
