WARRIORS LAND THREE ON ALL-REGION SQUAD

Creston, IA – Freshman Brooke Miller's (Fairfield, IA/Pekin) top-five finish highlighted the Indian Hills Women's Cross Country team's performance at the 2023 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 11 DI Women's Cross Country Championship.

Miller became the first female runner in Indian Hills Cross Country history to crack the top-five as the freshman crossed the finish line in fifth place among all Division I participants with a time of 20:38.29. Miller's performance garnered NJCAA All-Region 11 First-Team honors, the first in Indian Hills Women's Cross Country program history.

Amaree Hamilton (Lansing, IL/Hillcrest) crossed the finish line in eighth place with a time of 21:45.68 to be earn NJCAA All-Region 11 Second-Team honors while Selket Reid-el (Jacksonville, FL/Raines) placed 10th overall with a time of 23:08.42 to join Hamilton on the second-team All-Region squad.

As a program, the Warriors have now earned at least three All-Region selections in each of the last four seasons.

Freshman Emily Lord (Ottumwa, IA/Ottumwa) rounded out the individual performances for the Warriors with a time of 27:06.23.
