Creston, IA – The Indian Hills Baseball team picked up its first Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) victory of the year with a 14-5 win on the road at Southwestern Community College. The Warriors have now won three games in a row and improve to 10-5 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

Diego Aragon (Fort Collins, CO/Fort Collins) delivered his second home run of the year and finished the game with a pair of hits and a career-high four RBI. Ricardo Van Grieken (Merida, Venezuela/San Luis) collected three hits and a pair of RBI and Sleiter Suriel (Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville) went 3-5 with two runs scored. Freshman Daniel Figueroa (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico/Leadership Christian Academy) added two hits to add to his team-leading total of 19 on the year.

Four different Warriors saw action on the mound as Douglas Rojas (Valencia, Venezuela/U.E. Cabriales) worked the majority of the game, going five innings with seven strikeouts in relief. Arturo Rodriguez (San Diego, CA/San Ysidro) worked 1.2 innings of relief and did not allow a baserunner.
