WARRIORS UP TO NO. 13 IN NJCAA POLL

Ottumwa, IA – Following three victories last week, including two wins on the road, the Indian Hills Men's Basketball team climbed three spots in the national rankings, checking in at No. 13 in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Basketball poll.

With less than a month remaining in the regular season, Indian Hills scored three key victories to extend its winning streak to five games last week. The Warriors went on the road to knock off then-No. 17 Moberly Area Community College (MO) for the second time this season before dropping North Central Missouri College 81-77 at the Hellyer Center on Thursday night. Indian Hills closed out the week with a 78-70 win on the road at Highland Community College (IL) on Saturday.

The win over Moberly Area on Tuesday night gave Indian Hills its fourth win over a top-25 team this year, and 10th victory against a team that has appeared in the national rankings at one point throughout the year. Indian Hills has not lost a game in the month of February as the Warriors gear up for four games at home to close out the regular season.

South Plains College (TX) held strong at No. 1 in the national rankings with a perfect 25-0 record followed by No. 2 Barton Community College (KS) at 25-1. Daytona State College (FL), Triton, and Mineral Area College (MO) round out the top-five.

Indian Hills will host Sauk Valley Community College (IL) at 7:00 PM Wednesday night before welcoming Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) foe Southeastern Community College to the Hellyer Center for a 7:00 PM league date on Saturday night.

The Warriors close out the regular season at home vs. McCook Community College (NE) at 7:00 PM on February 26 and against Triton College (IL), currently ranked No. 4 in the national poll, at 7:00 PM on March 2.
