MARSHALLTOWN, IA – Indian Hills lost a heartbreaker in ICCAC play Tuesday as the Warriors watched as Marshalltown's Guilherme Pereira snapped a 1-1 tie with a game-winner with just over a minute left on the clock to hand the Tigers a 2-1 victory.

The two teams battled to a 1-1 draw back on April 15 in Ottumwa, and the rematch looked to be heading into bonus soccer as well until Pereira took a low cross on the six-yard box from the Tigers' Fumiya Shirashi and the Brazilian found the top of the net sending MCC players into a wild celebration.

The Warriors took a 1-0 into halftime in the foul-ridden contemptuous contest thanks to an unassisted goal from IHCC freshman Denis German Barcojo, but the lead would not hold up as MCC's Yushi Nago knotted it up in the 59th minute off an assist from Ricardo Junior.

The win moves Marshalltown to 5-3-1 on the season while IHCC fell to 4-4-2 overall and 3-4-2 in ICCAC play.

The Warriors travel to Spencer on Sunday to take on No. 9-rated Iowa Lakes (5-2).  The Lakers downed Indian Hills 7-2 back on April 19 in Ottumwa.  Kickoff Sunday is set for 1 p.m.
