WARRIORS RANKED NO. 9 IN FINAL POLL

NJCAA DI MEN'S SOCCER POLL - WEEK 9

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Men's Soccer team capped the final regular season national ranking at No. 9 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Soccer poll. The Warriors head into postseason play with its highest ranking of the season.

The Warriors closed out the regular season with just one loss over the team's final eight contests, posting an overall record of 6-2-5 while winning the regular season Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) title after defeating Iowa Western Community College twice during the season.

Indian Hills, who pitched five shutouts on the year, squared off against six nationally ranked opponents during its 13-match regular season. The Warriors' 1.01 goals against average currently ranks second-best in school history behind the 2017 squad's 0.94 mark.

With the regular season title belonging to the Warriors, Indian Hills will now host the upcoming NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Midwest District Tournament at the Indian Hills Soccer Complex November 3-5. The four-team tournament gets underway with Indian Hills facing the NJCAA Region 4 (Upper Illinois) winner while Iowa Western will take on the NJCAA Region 24 (Southern Illinois) winner.
