IHCC Takes Grinnell Invite

Grinnell, Iowa -- Using first-place finishes in three individual events and from one relay squad along with five runnerup placings Indian Hills took the team title in the Grinnell Indoor Invitational at the Charles Bear Athletic Center on Saturday.

The Warriors' winners were Raykwon McClenny in the 200 meters (22.56), Brieon Randle in the 400 meters (50.31), Chris Kubli in the 800 meters (1:58.43), and the 4x200 meter relay unit of Gianni Berry, Ahmed Brakat, Javaris Logan and Keenan Livingston (1:34.12).

The 2nds came from McClenny in the 60 meter dash (7.02), Randle in the 200 meters (22.71), Jovan Parks in the 400 meters (51.03), the 4x400 relay squad of Bernard McCann III, Dave Hundley Jr., David Buckner and Kubli (3:28.37), and Nathan Winters in the shot put (50'-0.5").

The rest of the top-ten finishes for Indian Hills were:

Colton Lanman, 3rd in the high jump (6'-6")

Indian Hills won the meet with 128 points, leading a field of 11 other squads and easily outdistancing second-place Grand View.

The Warriors will go to Pittsburg, Kans., this weekend for the Gorilla Classic at Pittsburg State University.
