Ackley, Iowa -- The Indian Hills sports shooting team wrapped up its fall conference schedule on Saturday at the Ellsworth Invitational. In the competition at the Stockdale Gun Club, the IHCC squad finished 4th, just four birds behind third-place Southwestern CC.
Tristan Schaefer and Andy McMullin tied for team honors for Indian Hills, each with a score of 90, one ahead of teammate Aaron Reuss and two better than Case Scieszinski. Brett Nace was one bird in back of Scieszinski.
"It was definitely the coldest conditions we have shot in all fall," said IHCC coach Jake Stalzer, "and the scores reflected that. But I'm proud of our team to persevere through the tough conditions."
The last shoot of the fall for Indian Hills will be the Grand View Invitational on Nov. 18.
