Ottumwa -- The Indian Hills softball team had a cumulative grade point average of 3.34 for the 2018-19 academic year, earning the Warriors recognition as an All-Academic Team by the NJCAA.

In addition, five players earned a spot on the NJCAA All-Academic team for individuals.  Lyla Kriegel was on the First Team with a GPA of 4.0; Abby Sweet, Alexis Westercamp, Jakala Hall and Jaylie Reints were all on the Third Team, whose members have GPAs between 3.60 and 3.79.

Eight different Indian Hills teams were honored as All-Academic Teams and 33 IHCC student-athletes qualified for a place on one of the three All-Academic teams.
