Lewis is the lone Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) representative on either the first or second NJCAA DI Softball All-America team as just three individuals from the Iowa conference earned a spot on the prestigious list.
Lewis, the team's primary third baseman, powered the Warrior offense from the top of the lineup throughout the year. Lewis was a part of five school records, including the new single season batting average mark at .530. Along with NJCAA and NFCA All-American recognition, Lewis was tapped as the NJCAA Region XI DI Softball Player of the Year and earned NFCA Midwest Region First-Team and NJCAA All-Region XI First-Team honors.
Nationally, Lewis ranked inside the top-10 among all NJCAA DI Softball student-athletes in eight offensive categories, including second with 31 home runs and second with 214 total bases.
Anderson and Lewis become the 47th and 48th individuals to earn NJCAA All-American honors in school history. As a program, the Warriors have now earned five NJCAA All-American selections over the last three seasons.
