LEMLEY NAMED ICCAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Jenna Lemley (Troy Mills, IA/North Linn) has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Softball Player of the Week after leading the Indian Hills Softball offensive last week.

At the plate, Lemley boasted a .579 batting average while collecting four extra base hits, including her first two home runs of the year. Lemley drove in eight runs on the week while scoring three times as the Warriors collected six wins on the week.

Lemley put together a career performance against North Central Missouri College on April 9 as the sophomore went 3-3 with a double, a home run, and four RBI to lead the Warriors to a 16-1 victory. Lemley followed up two days later with four hits in a doubleheader sweep of North Iowa Area Community College.

In Sunday's opener at Rock Valley College (IL), Lemley produced another solid outing at the plate, going 3-4 with a double as the Warriors came out with a 7-2 win.

On the year, Lemley owns a .429 batting average to go along with a .508 on-base percentage and a .589 slugging percentage.

Lemley and the Warriors are scheduled for an ICCAC doubleheader at Southeastern Community College Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is set for 2:00 PM.
