IHCC Drops Tourney Game to Scott

Bettendorf, Iowa -- Alma Alvia's hat trick helped Scott CC to a 5-0 win over Indian Hills in the first round of the Region 11 postseason tournament on Wednesday.

Scott had beaten the Warriors twice during the regular season and got home-field advantage for the playoff game. They got an early goal and then Alvia went to work, scoring the next three goals for Scott. Their leading scorer Roni Storjohann tallied the final goal.

Indian Hills only managed to get three shots on goal, coming from Karianne Bolt, Melanie Luttrell and Anne Barthelman. Meanwhile, IHCC goalkeeper Ashley Hartnedy collected seven saves.

The loss ends the Warriors' season with a record of 1-12.
