WARRIORS GO 3-0 IN PRESEASON

Ottumwa, IA – The No. 17 Indian Hills Women's Soccer team wrapped up the team's preseason slate with a 3-1 victory over William Penn University on Wednesday afternoon. The Warriors, ranked No. 17 in the preseason National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Soccer poll, swept all three of their exhibition matches for the year.

After a pair of convincing wins to open the preseason, the Warriors faced their toughest challenge of the preseason on Wednesday against the Statesmen. An early 2-0 lead, followed by a late score helped head coach Anthony Longo's team complete the 3-0 preseason schedule.

Against its three opponents – Southeastern Community College, Iowa Wesleyan University, and William Penn, the Warriors outscored their opponents 21-2.

The Warriors are set to open up the regular season schedule on Saturday, August 21 with a trip to East Central College (MO) at 1:00 PM. Originally scheduled for a pair of games in Missouri this weekend, the team's Sunday match at Jefferson College (MO) has been cancelled.
