Indian Hills Falls to MS-WP

West Plains, Missouri -- When Indian Hills and Missouri State-West Plains met a month earlier at the Tom Arnold Net Center in Ottumwa, the two teams slugged it out in a five-set match, won by MS-WP. The rematch on the Grizzlies home court Monday, unfortunately for IHCC, wasn't that close.

The Grizzlies got off to a quick start, winning the opening set 25-11 and took the next two sets, 25-19 and 25-20.

The Warriors made a lineup adjustment in the second set and were much more competitive after that. But they had a hard time contending with the Grizzlies' one-two punch of Nella Ioramo and Helena Peric, who combined for 27 kills.

Camila Araujo and Shelby Lauterbach had eight kills each for Indian Hills. Lauterbach also had 11 digs. Katie Soddy chipped in 27 assists and Peyton Crosser had a pair of blocks.

Indian Hills will end the regular season in a triangular at DMACC on Friday. The Warriors will battle Marshalltown CC at 3:30 and DMACC at 7:00.
