Boone, IA – Jarolin de los Santos (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Luis Munoz Rivera) and Zara McCauley (Mount Barker, South Australia/Heathfield) powered the Indian Hills Volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep at DMACC on Monday night. The sophomore tandem combined for 22 kills in the victory.

The Warriors improve to 16-10 on the year with the win with 11 of the matches coming by way of a sweep. Monday's win came in straight set victories – 25-13, 25-17, and 25-21 to snap a two-game skid for Indian Hills who are receiving votes in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Volleyball rankings.

As a team, the Warriors hit .341 on the attack, the team's eighth match of the year hitting .300 or better. de los Santos totaled 12 kills on 18 attempts for the Warriors for a .611 hitting percentage. The sophomore led the Warriors on the defensive side of the ball as well with eight total blocks, including five solo stops.

McCauley added 10 kills with a team-high 26 attempts. The match was McCauley's fifth double-digit kill total in her last eight matches played.

Brooke Amann (Woodstock, IL/South Dakota State) and Precious Daley (Des Moines, IA/Roosevelt) each added six kills for Indian Hills. Hennesys Lalane (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Colegio Luis Munox Rivera) recorded 36 assists to go along with five digs.

Indian Hills returns to Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) action at Iowa Western Community College on Wednesday night. The two teams square off at 7:00 PM at Reiver Arena in Council Bluffs, IA.
