Waverly, Iowa -- Indian Hills freshman Tyarra English-Paulson qualified for the NJCAA indoor national meet in Texas in March with a school-record shattering time of 59.37 to win the 400 meter dash and highlight the IHCC results at the Chelsey Henkenius Open on Saturday.

English-Paulson won the event in which teammate Taylor Mitchell came in 6th in 1:05.50.

Shalandra Schilling took 3rd in the high jump, leaping 4'10.5".

Jashira Baylark was 5th in the 60 meter hurdles in 9.96.

The Warriors 4x400 relay squad of Mitchell, English-Paulson, Peyton Coffin and Baylark ran to a 9th place finish in 4:27.51.

Indian Hills, with 23 points, finished 7th out of 12 teams in the meet.

The IHCC women will be back in action this Friday at the Jack Jennett Open at the University of Northern Iowa.
