Coffin, English-Paulson Finish First at Grinnell

Grinnell, Iowa -- Indian Hills got first-place finishes from Peyton Coffin and Tyarra English-Paulson at the Grinnell Indoor Invitational at the Charles Bear Athletic Center on the Grinnell College campus on Saturday.

Coffin won the 400 meters in a time of 1:01.18.  English-Paulson set a meet record in taking the 200 meters in 26.11.

On their way to a 6th-place finish in the team standings, Indian Hills also had Shalandra Schilling come in 2nd in the high jump with a leap of 5'-0.25".

Jashira Baylark was 3rd in the 60 meter dash in 8.24 and English-Paulson took 3rd in the 60 meter hurdles in 9.27.

The other top-ten placings for IHCC came from Coffin, 4th in the 200 meters (27.36); Baylark, 5th in the 60 meter hurdles (9.62); Taylor Mitchell, 8th in the 400 meters (1:05.67); and Ashlyn Elmore, 8th in the mile run (6:14.66).

The Warriors will travel to Pittsburg, Kans., this weekend for the Gorilla Classic at Pittsburg State University.
