Pella, Iowa-- The Women's track and field team competed at the Central College Invitational Thursday, March 29th and Friday, March 30th.

Peyton Coffin continued her tear in the 400m and 200m dash. Just two weeks ago, Coffin broke her previous 400m school record. The sophomore from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa rewrote the records books once again in day one of the Central College Invitational, taking 2nd in the 400m with a new school record time of 1:00.60. Coffin doubled back on day two, running her second fastest 200m ever (26.79) to place third overall.

Shalandra Shilling competed in the high jump and 200m dash. Shilling took 4th in the high jump with a mark of 1.48m before setting a personal best in the 200m (29.17). Matana Munday competed in the shot put and discus. Munday had a toss of 10.57m in the shot put, good for 11th overall. Ashlyn Elmore competed in the 800m, setting her fastest collegiate mark (2:43).

The Warrior women are currently on spring break. They will return to action Saturday, April 7th at the Central Methodist Universtiy Invitational in Fayette, Missouri.
