Fayetteville, Arkansas -- Taking part in a huge meet that included 45 teams and 381 individuals, Maddie Bach led the Indian Hills women in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival on Saturday.  Bach finished 78th out of the nearly 400 runners with a time of 18:33 over the 5K course at Agri Park.

Six of Bach's teammates also ran in the invite, with Vanessa Blanco the second-place IHCC runner, finishing in 20:50.3.  Next were Ashley Elmore (21:06.9) and Amanda Wakelin (21:41.8).

The Warriors came in 32nd place with a team score of 949, beating 13 other schools.  There were less than a handful of two-year schools to participate, including the Warriors.

Indian Hills will run in the Jayhawk Invite in Muskegon, Michigan on Oct. 13.
