WARRIORS BOUNCE BACK AT BRADLEY INVITE

Peoria, IL – The Indian Hills Women's Cross Country team saw four individuals put together strong showings at the Bradley Intercollegiate on Friday night.

Competing as one of three junior college programs in the 13-team field, the Warriors were led by freshman Brooke Miller (Fairfield, IA/Pekin) for the second consecutive race. Miller was the top junior college runner at the meet with a time of 19:30.40 in the three-mile event.

Miller was joined by teammate Amaree Hamilton (Lansing, IL/Hillcrest) who placed 48th overall with a season-best time of 20:01.50. Selket Reid-el (Jacksonville, FL/Raines) crossed the finish line in 67th place with a time of 21:19.10 followed by freshman Emily Lord (Ottumwa, IA/Ottumwa) who placed 89th with a time of 24:03.80.

The Warriors return to action September 30 at the Dan Huston Invitational in Waverly, IA.
