One of the most decorated individuals in Indian Hills Athletics history, Emily Murphy left her impact on the program for years to come. A two-time NJCAA All-American for the Warriors, Murphy continues to hold eight school records following her tenure at Indian Hills. 

A native of Burlington, IA, Murphy earned NJCAA All-American honors as a freshman before capping her two-year career with the Warriors as a second-team All-American as a sophomore in 2019. For her efforts, Murphy was tapped as the 2019 ICCAC Player of the Year and the 2019-20 Indian Hills Student-Athlete of the Year. Murphy was twice named to the NJCAA All-Region 11 First-Team and was a two-time member of the NJCAA Region 11 All-Tournament Team. A force on the pitch, Murphy was named the ICCAC Athlete of the Week six times throughout her career at Indian Hills. 

The standout forward sits atop the Indian Hills record books in career goals (71), single season goals (1st - 37, 2nd, 34), single game goals (5 - 2x), career points (165), single season points (1st - 89, 2nd - 76), single game points (1st - 13, 2nd - 12), career game-winning goals (16), and single-season game-winning goals (8 - 2x). 

Academically, Murphy was twice named to the NJCAA All-Academic Team and was named to the ICCAC Academic All-Region squad each season at Indian Hills. 

Following her time at Indian Hills, Murphy moved on to the University of Wisconsin Green Bay where she started 37 of 39 career matches, totaling 23 career points for the Phoenix while earning Horizon League Academic Honor Roll honors.

Murphy becomes the first member of the Indian Hills Women's Soccer program inducted into the Indian Hills Hall of Fame.

Murphy was recently hired as the head coach of the Southeastern Community College Women's Soccer program.
