IHCC Blanked by SCC

IHCC vs. SCC

Centerville -- After scoring 33 runs in a four-game series last weekend in Colby, Kans., the Indian Hills bats went quiet on Wednesday, the Falcons losing at home to Southeastern CC, 9-0.

The Blackhawks plated a run in the 1st inning and that's the way the score stayed until SCC tacked on three runs in the 7th.  They added two in the 8th and three more in the 9th to avenge a loss to the Falcons earlier in the spring.

Jet Weber supplied the only offense for IHCC with their two hits for the day.

Indian Hills (13-8) will now set its sights on conference play which begins with four games against Iowa Western this weekend.  The pair of doubleheaders have been moved up to Friday and Saturday in Council Bluffs.  The Falcons and Reivers battled for the region postseason championship last year with Indian Hills claiming the title with a win over Iowa Western in the final game of the postseason tourney.
