HUEBNER NAMED ICCAC PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Centerville, IA – Sophomore Cole Huebner (Edmonton, Alberta/Strathcona) of the Indian Hills Baseball squad has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Huebner twirled a gem of a performance on the mound for the Warriors Sunday, leading Indian Hills to a 6-1 victory over North Central Missouri College in Millington, TN as part of the Flag City Classic.

In his second start of the season, Huebner tossed five scoreless frames while striking out three batters to earn the victory. Huebner scattered a pair of hits while issuing just one walk on the day. The outing was Huebner's third-career start with at least five innings and zero earned runs allowed.

On the season, Huebner has posted a 2.25 earned run average with eight innings of work while striking out nine batters.

Huebner has now earned three career ICCAC DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors over the last two seasons for the Warriors.

The Warriors return to action this weekend for a four-game series at Cowley College (KS). Action from Arkansas City, KS gets underway at 1:00 PM on Friday.
