FIRST PITCH

Indian Hills is set to make its 2025 home debut at Pat Daugherty Field as the Warriors host St. Cloud Tech for a trio of games this weekend.

  • The Warriors are 8-2 in their home opener in the last 10 seasons.
  • Freshmen Eduardo Espinoza and Boris Rodriguez lead the offense with a batting averages of .323 and .321, respectively.
  • Sophomore Cale Clark has powered the Warriors at the plate with a team-high 12 RBI and five extra base hits.
  • Sophomores Kurtis Smith and Cole Huebner have anchored the pitching staff with a combined 31.0 innings pitched and 35 total strikeouts on the year.

SERIES HISTORY

The two teams have met just seven times prior to the weekend series, all since the 2015 season and all at Pat Daugherty Field. St. Cloud took the first all-time matchup, 5-4 on March 21, 2015. Indian Hills and St. Cloud played a three-game series in Centerville March 15-16, 2022 with the Warriors winning the first two contests, 3-1 and 11-1, before dropping the finale 4-3. Indian Hills took two of three during March of 2024 on its home diamond.

SCOUTING THE CYCLONES

St. Cloud Tech enters the weekend with a 6-5 overall record, winning four of its last five outings.
