The Indian Hills Baseball team has added Jack Donahue to the coaching staff as an assistant coach.

"Jack is a young coach with lots of energy for coaching," stated Indian Hills Baseball Head Coach Matt Torrez. "Jack has spent the last two years at Mineral Area and has shown he has the ability to make kids better. I am excited to see him grow with the pitchers and have him expand his coaching with the catchers and outfielders."

A native of Marshfield, WI, Donahue recently completed his second season as the pitching coach on staff at Mineral Area College where the program won 66 games combined over the previous two seasons. The Cardinals advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 16 Tournament each season.

"I am excited for the opportunity to coach at a school with great history and look forward to working with the student-athletes," Donahue stated. "I look forward to working with coach Torrez and coach (Daniel) Hargrave while also learning from them."

Donahue joined the Mineral Area staff after a four-year collegiate career at Des Moines Area Community College and the University of Wisconsin Stout. At Wisconsin Stout, Donahue was named team captain as a senior.

Donahue has also spent time as a pitching coach in the Northwoods League with the Waterloo Bucks as well as an assistant pitching coach at UW Stout.

Donahue holds an Associate of Arts degree from DMACC, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math and Computer Science with a concentration in Math Education from UW Stout, and a Masters of Education from Central Methodist University.
