Warriors Pound Faith Prep

Bratton

West Plains, Missouri -- Indian Hills scored the game's first nine points, led by 34 at intermission and rolled to a 104-60 win against Faith Prep Academy on Saturday afternoon at the West Plains, Missouri Civic Center.

The Warriors picked up two victories in less than 24 hours on their southern trip -- they defeated Missouri State-West Plains in overtime Friday night -- and raised their season record to 14-4 in a final tuneup before the start of conference play this weekend.

The contest with the Arkansas prep school was never in doubt after the early 9-0 run.  The Warriors used 11 players and ten of them scored.  Tomas Woldetensae, the team's scoring leader, led the way with 19 points and increased his season total to 56 with five 3-pointers, four of them in the second half.

Anthony Bratton established a new season-high with 18, Nick Wagner and Tyon Grant-Foster tallied 12 apiece and Lance Singh's season-best 11 gave IHCC five men in double figures.

Faith Prep, playing an ambitious schedule against two-year schools that saw them take on ranked opponents Coffeyville (Kans.) and Indian Hills in back-to-back games in the weekend classic, was paced by Tairell Fletcher's 17 points.

Six different Warriors hit a 3-pointer and the team's 12 makes from behind the arc was the 12th time in 18 games they've made 10 or more.

Indian Hills played without Devontae Lane and Torrey Patton, both of whom were injured in Friday's win.

IHCC has a week to get ready for the start of league play.  Northeast (Neb.) comes to the Hellyer Center on Saturday night.
