WARRIORS FALL TO NEO A&M AT BOWLING RV CLASSIC

Ottumwa, IA – No. 8 Indian Hills Men's Basketball suffered an 82-76 loss to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on the final night of the Bowling RV Classic Saturday at the Hellyer Center. The Warriors fall to 5-2 on the year.

In a tightly-contested matchup from the jump, the Warriors and Golden Norse Men traded leads 14 times throughout the duration of the game. NEO A&M led by as many as 11 in the first half while the Warriors never led by more than four. The Golden Norse Men retook the lead with 3:32 to play and held on down the stretch to improve to 8-2 on the year.

Freshman Eddiean Tirado (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Miami Triple Threat) led the way with 14 points for the Warriors while connecting on four three-point shots. Braxton Bayless (Ankeny, IA/Ankeny) added 13 points and a team-high five assists while Davin Zeigler (Cleveland, OH/Bowling Green) added 11 points off the bench for the Warriors.

The Warriors outrebounded NEO A&M 51-46 but connected on just 28.9 percent of its field goal attempts in the loss.

Indian Hills is back in action at the Mattoon Classic on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Warriors will take on No. 2 ranked John A. Logan College at 6:00 PM Tuesday and Vincennes University at 1:00 PM Wednesday. Warrior fans can catch Indian Hills in action via GoHillsTV.
