Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore J'Vonne Hadley (St. Paul, MN/Northeastern) has been named to this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week after leading No. 15 Indian Hills Men's Basketball to a pair of wins last week.
Hadley posted back-to-back career-nights for the Warriors (16-5, 1-1). Against No. 23 Triton College (IL), Hadley poured in a then-season-high 19 points, including the eventual game-winning jumper to lift the Warriors over the Trojans 77-74. The game-winner was Hadley's second of the season against a ranked opponent.
The sophomore followed up with a career-best effort against Marshalltown Community College with season-high totals of 24 points and 12 rebounds for his first-career double-double.
For the week, Hadley shot 15-26 (57.7 percent) while averaging 21.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
