WARRIORS CONTINUE TO CLIMB IN NATIONAL RANKINGS

Ottumwa, IA – After another undefeated week, the Indian Hills Warriors have moved up in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) rankings. The Warriors won by a wide margin in games over Carl Sandburg College (IL) and Kankakee Community College (IL).

Indian Hills' exceptional performance as of late has awarded them the No. 6 ranking in the NJCAA poll, one spot up from last week's ranking. In the JUCO Media Poll, the Warriors are now No. 4, up three spots from last week. The pair of big wins over Carl Sandburg and Kankakee extended the team's season-high win streak to nine games.

Indian Hills hosted Carl Sandburg on Feb. 7 in what would become a career night for Davin Zeigler (Cleveland, OH/Bowling Green). Leading all scorers with 24 points, Zeigler helped the Warriors to win big, 96-68. The sophomore also ended the night with six assists, five steals, and zero turnovers. J'Vonne Hadley (Saint Paul, MN/Northeastern) had a great night on the glass where the sophomore collected 15 rebounds, seven of which were offensive.

In a road game victory on Saturday, the Warriors defeated Kankakee 87-47 for the team's second win over the Cavaliers this year. Hadley scored 16 points on 6-9 from the field. Taj Anderson (Queens NY, Quality Education) had an efficient night as well, shooting 4-8 from the floor for 10 points.

Indian Hills has two home games remaining on the schedule before it will begin postseason play. The Warriors will host North Central Missouri College on Feb. 16 and Triton College (IL) on Feb. 19.

The Warriors have secured home court advantage in the upcoming NJCAA Region XI Tournament and will host the winner of Southeastern Community College and Marshalltown Community College in the championship game at 7:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 26.
