After a pair of games in Idaho over the weekend, the Warriors head back out on the road for a trio of high-level matchups in the state of Illinois.
- The Warriors knocked off undefeated Colorado Northwestern and No. 16 Southern Idaho in a dominant showing at the CSI Invite in Twin Falls, ID over the weekend.
- 10 players are averaging 15.0+ minutes a game while eight players are averaging 5.0+ points per game in a well-balanced attack for the Warriors.
- Indian Hills currnetly ranks 14th in the nation with 20.0 forced turnovers per game.
- The Warriors will be playing a team from a fifth different state to start the year - Kansas, Texas, Colorado, Idaho, and now Illinois.
- Indian Hills is 62-5 vs. teams from the state of Illinois since 2011, including a 13-3 mark in road/neutral games.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
Wabash Valley enters Wednesday's matchup with a 5-2 overall record to start the year.
- The Warriors are coming off back-to-back wins, including a 78-59 win over Moraine Valley Community College.
- Sophomore Tamorrian Grigsby is leading the Warriors with 11.5 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per contest.
- Wabash Valley ranks 154th in the NJCAA with 5.1 three-point field goals made per game.
- Indian Hills and Wabash Valley will match up for the fourth-time in program history. Indian Hills owns a 3-0 record, including its most recent matchup at the 2012 NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Tournament in Hutchinson, KS.
SCOUTING THE VOLUNTEERS
The 2023 NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Champions, John A. Logan is set to host its home invite on Friday and Saturday.
- The Volunteers are 3-2 heading into Friday night's matchup after a 15-16 season a year ago.
- Taylor Smith leads the offense with 12.8 points followed by Davius Loury's 12.6 points per game.
- Prior to Friday's contest, the Volunteers will travel to Mineral Area College (MO) for a matchup on Wednesday night.
