Ottumwa, IA – The No. 6 nationally ranked Indian Hills Men's Basketball squad made an emphatic return to the Hellyer Center on Tuesday night with an 80-57 win over visiting Iowa Central Community College. The Warriors move to 8-3 overall on the year.
The Warriors outscored Iowa Central by 17 in the second half to run away from the Tritons. 11 players reached the scoring column in the win, including four in double-figures. Sophomore Abdoulaye Fall (Dakar, Senegal/Cloud County) and freshman Zevin Gadson (Akron, OH/Buchtel) led the way with 13 points for the Warriors.
Sophomore William Beugre-Kassi (Pontoise, France/Albert Thomas) collected his third double-double of the year while filling the stat sheet for the Warriors. Kassi went for 10 points to go along with a career-high 13 rebounds, including eight in the first half. The sophomore added a team-high four assists, three steals, and three blocks in the win.

Freshman Tayshawn Bridges (Milwaukee, WI/Milwaukee Academy of Science), this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week, added 10 points, all in the second half, to go along with four rebounds.
Indian Hills held Iowa Central to just 33.8 percent shooting on the night, including a 25.0 percent (6-24) from three-point range. The Warriors turned 18 Iowa Central miscues into 25 points while outrebounding the Tritons 49-41.
The Warriors jumped out to a quick 9-0 run to open the night. A pair of free throws from Fall at the 7:42 mark pushed the lead to double-digits before the Tritons chipped away at the deficit. A bucket from Gadson in the closing minute of the half gave Indian Hills a 33-27 lead at the break.
The Warriors maintained a comfortable lead to open the second half before Gadson hit a three at the 12:03 mark to push it back to a double-digit advantage. Indian Hills extended the lead to 20 in the closing minutes as the Warriors improved to 20-4 all-time vs. the Tritons.
Indian Hills heads into the Thanksgiving break before returning to action on December 2 with a home date vs. Dakota County Technical College (MN) at 7:00 PM
