LAST TIME OUT

The Warriors are 2-0 to open the new year with an 84-59 win over Wabash Valley College (IL) at home on January 4 and an 80-67 road win at Sauk Valley Community College (IL) on January 7.

  • In its most recent outing vs. Sauk Valley, sophomore Trenton Walters tied a season-high 19 points while Quinton Perkins II added 15 as the duo combined to shoot 8-12 from three-point range.
  • As a team, the Warriors shot 44.4 percent from three-point range after hitting 12 three-point shots against the Skyhawks, the sixth time this season Indian Hills has connected on double-digit three-point shots in a game.
  • Indian Hills tied a season-high with eight blocks in the win at Sauk Valley, including three from Perkins.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS

Marshalltown (7-9) makes the 89-mile trek south to the Hellyer Center having lost two in a row and eight of its last nine.

  • Freshman Justice Small leads the Tigers with a team-high 15.6 points per game while shooting 55.8 percent from the floor to go along with a team-best 7.9 rebounds per game.
  • Sophomore Jayden Hill ranks second on the team with 12.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest.
  • As a team, eight players are averaging at least 5.0 points per contest on the year.

SERIES HISTORY

Indian Hills boasts a 93-18 all-time record vs. the Tigers dating back to the first matchup between the two teams in 1963.

  • The Warriors have won 26 consecutive games vs. Marshalltown dating back to February 23, 2013. 
  • Indian Hills has won 26 of its last 27 matchups vs. Marshalltown at the Hellyer Center.
  • The Warriors have outscored the Tigers by double-digits in five consecutive matchups, including three-straight wins by at least 30 points.
