• The Warriors held on to their spot at No. 3 in the latest NJCAA national rankings for the second consecutive week.
• Indian Hills has won nine consecutive games vs. teams from the state of Illinois and are 28-2 over the last 30 matchups vs. teams from the Prairie State.
• Six different players are averaging at least 8.0 points per game on the year, led by Abdoulaye Fall's 11.6 points per contest.
• Quinton Perkins II posted 23 points, six assists, and five rebounds in Friday's win over Central, the first player to record at least 23-6-5 in a game since Curtis Jones against Marshalltown on March 10, 2021 (26-9-6).
• Dating back to the 1989-90 season, the Warriors are 9-0 on January 28, scoring at least 100 points four times.

LAST TIME OUT

Indian Hills scored an 89-71 victory over Central Community College (NE) on Friday night.

• The Warriors saw all nine players that appeared in the game register at least five points and two rebounds in the win.
• The Warriors connected on 13 of 31 three-point shots, the second-most makes and attemps in a game this season.

Highland is off to an 11-9 start on the year, having won three of its last four contests.

• The Cougars rank sixth in the nation with a 39.3 three-point field goal percentage on the year while the team's 9.2 three-point shots made per game rank 23rd overall.
• Jason Kimbrough leads the Cougar offense with 17.2 points per game while shooting 50.6/48.9/84.8 on the year.
• Alphonse Muteba leads the defense with 6.1 rebounds per game adn 1.8 blocked shots per contest.
• The Cougars are 6-4 at home on the year and are 0-4 vs. common opponents with the Warriors.

A number of Warriors continue to make an impact at the next level, both at four-year institutions and the professional ranks.

• Dwight Buycks (2007-09), a two-time NJCAA All-American and the fourth all-time leading scorer at Indian Hills is in his 14th year of playing at the professional level. Buycks' career has spanned the globe, including stints with multiple NBA teams and stops in China, Greece, Qatar, and his most recent home with Kalleh Mazandaran Amol in the Iranian Superleague. Through 20 games, Buycks is averaging 25.0 points and 5.7 assists per contest as the team sits in first place with a 17-3 record.
• J'Vonne Hadley (2021-22) has been on a tear at the University of Louisville this year. In his first season with the Cardinals, Hadley has scored in double-figures in eight consecutive games while Louisville has strung together nine consecutive victories. Hadley is averaging 12.0 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game on the year. The Cardinals are currently ranked No. 21 in the nation in the latest AP Poll.
