Ottumwa, IA – While the Indian Hills Men's Basketball squad is set to take on the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Basketball National Tournament next week in Hutchinson, KS, a number of former alums are competing in their respective postseason tournaments at the four-year level.
In total, six former players and coaches will suit up for college basketball's premiere event. Below is information on how to follow former Warriors competing in March Madness this year.
Tyon Grant-Foster (2018-20) | Grand Canyon University
Grant-Foster helped lead the Lopes to their third consecutive WAC Championship to punch their ticket to March Madness. Grant-Foster, the 2024 Most Outstanding Player at last year's WAC Tournament, will lead Grand Canyon into the opening round after averaging 14.5 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per contest this year.

Curtis Jones (2020-21) | Iowa State University
Named an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American on Tuesday, Jones will help lead one of the top teams in the nation into the opening round. Jones has racked up honors all year long, including the Big 12's Sixth Man of the Year and All-Big 12 First-Team honors after averaging 17.1 points per game on the year while hitting 83 three-point shots.

J'Vonne Hadley (2021-22) | University of Louisville
Hadley helped lead the Cardinals to a No. 10 national ranking in the final AP Poll of the year. In his first season with Louisville, Hadley is averaging 12.1 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per contest.

Eddiean Tirado (2021-2023) | Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville
Tirado and the Cougars made a remarkable run through the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament to capture the championship and secure the program's first-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Josh Sash (2023-24, Head Coach) | Drake University (Assistant Coach)
Sash and the Bulldogs have made national headlines throughout the year with a historic season at Drake. With a 30-3 overall record on the year, the Bulldogs captured the Missouri Valley Conference regular season and postseason championships to earn the No. 11 overall seed at this year's NCAA Tournament.

Ali Farokhmanesh (2006-07) | Colorado State University (Assistant Coach)
Farokmanesh, who cemented his legacy in the NCAA Tournament with a breakthrough performance for the University of Northern Iowa in 2010, has helped lead the Rams into the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four years.

In addition to former Warriors competing in the NCAA DI Tournament, three alums helped their program advance to their respective national tournaments.
Taj Anderson (2020-22) | Louisiana State University – Shreveport
Anderson and the Pilots advanced to the NAIA Basketball National Championship First Round before falling to No. 2 overall seed Georgetown. Anderson finished the year with a team-high 19.4 points per game while racking up multiple accolades and records throughout the year.
Andre Harris (2021-22) | Fairmont State University
Harris and the Falcons advanced to the NCAA DII Atlantic Regional before falling to No. 4 Fayetteville State in overtime. Harris, who started all 32 games this year, averaged 14.4 points per contest.
Amarion Nimmers (2023-24) | Tampa University
Nimmers and the Spartans advanced to the NCAA DII South Regional for the first time in more than 10 years. Tampa, the No. 7 overall seed, fell to No. 2 seed University of Alabama in Huntsville in the opening round.
The Warriors are set to tip-off at the NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Championship Monday, March 24th at 8:00 PM against the winner of No. 14 Vincennes University (IN) and No. 19 Three Rivers College (MO).
