Ottumwa -- Nineteen members of the Indian Hills men's soccer squad were named to the 2019 Fall Academic All-Region team announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference this week.  The first-team selections earned grade point averages of 3.5 or higher during the fall while the second-team picks had GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.

The first-team all-region honorees were Adam Dahou, Alejandro Contreras, Andrea de Marinis, Bruno Sperandio, Damien Baltide, Diego Sada, Diogo Adade, Gabriel Sodre, Gustavo Barroso, Joao Pedro de Oliveira, Joao Vitor, Joao Vogt, Leonardo Torcigliani, Melodino Sanches, Rodrigo Rogatto and Vincent Grillot.  Named to the second team were Alan Roman, David Medeiros and Rui Tsubakihara.  It's the second straight year that Medeiros, Barroso, Vitor and Rogatto received academic all-region honors.

Indian Hills had a total of 81 academic all-region members in eight different sports.
