WARRIORS RANKED NO. 13 IN NJCAA, COACHES POLL

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Men's Soccer team checked in at No. 13 in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Soccer poll, dropping just one spot from last week's spot at No. 12.

The Warriors posted a 0-1-1 record last week after taking on a pair of nationally ranked opponents in Great Bend, KS at the Barton Classic. The Warriors fell 3-1 to unbeaten and No. 11 Barton Community College (KS) before earning a 2-2 draw with unbeaten Otero Junior College (CO) on Sunday. The Warriors sit at 3-1-2 on the year.

The Warriors earned 56 points in this week's poll which is topped by Monroe College (NY). Arizona Western College, Cowley Community College (KS), Salt Lake Community College (KS), and Iowa Western Community College round out the top five.

Indian Hills also checked in at No. 13 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Poll.

Indian Hills will now take on Iowa Lakes Community College for a cross-division matchup on September 9 in Ottumwa. The Warriors and Lakers will square off at the IHCC Soccer Complex at 3:30 PM as part of a doubleheader with the women's squads.
