Indian Hills heads into the weekend series having won seven consecutive games to move to 16-12 overall on the year.

  • Six of the Warriors' wins during their streak have come in ICCAC play as Indian Hills sits atop the conference standings.
  • During the team's seven-game win streak, the Warriors are outscoring their opponents 58-14, batting .328 as a team along the way.
  • Sophomore Ava Smith is currently riding a career-high 12-game hitting streak, batting .559 during the stretch.
  • Sophomore Yarah Zuiver has scored at least one run in 13 of the team's last 16 games for a total of 20 runs scored.
  • Indian Hills, who is 4-0 at home this year, is 162-32 (.835) at R.L. Hellyer Field dating back to the 2015 season.

SERIES HISTORY

The two squads have squared off 13 times in program history, all since the 2022 season.

  • Indian Hills leads the all-time series 10-3, including 6-0 at R.L. Hellyer Field.
  • The Warriors took a 3-0 decision earlier this season on February 15 at the at the SCC Turf Tournament.
    • Sophomore Ashlynn Sheets went the distance in the circle, scattering seven hits in the complete game shutout.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES

Rock Valley heads to Ottumwa with an 18-5 overall record on the year, having won 10 consecutive contests.

  • During the team's 10-game win streak, the Golden Eagles have outscored their opponents 105-23.
  • Rock Valley is 11-2 in true road games this year and 16-5 overall away from its home field.
  • The Golden Eagles previously won eight NJCAA national titles in a row at the NJCAA DIII level from 2014-22. Rock Valley jumped up to the NJCAA DII ranks in 2022.
  • Four players lead the offense with a .400 batting average or better, led by Chloe Wamboldt's .464 clip.
  • Natalie Lower leads the pitching staff with seven wins and a 2.41 earned run average.
