IHCC Buries Hawkeye in Conference Win

Waterloo, Iowa -- Indian Hills got goals from six different players in the Warriors' latest shutout win, a 6-0 blanking of Hawkeye CC on Wednesday. The Warriors are 9-2 for the season and seven of their nine victories have been shutouts.

Sophie Greenwood and Hannah Mitchell scored in the first half against the RedTails to give IHCC a 2-0 halftime advantage. Ellie Priest, Mel Shepherd, Olivia Pargeon and Brianna Clark all notched goals in the final half. It was the first goal of the season for both Greenwood and Clark and gives Indian Hills goals from 14 different players.

Goalkeeper Sophie Ledger followed up a blanking of Iowa Lakes in the Warriors' last outing with another shutout performance. She had to make only one save as Indian Hills outshot the RedTails by a whopping 34-1.

The Warriors will make the trip to Norfolk, Nebraska on Saturday, looking to duplicate an earlier win against Northeast CC.
