WIEMANN COLLECTS FIFTH WEEKLY ICCAC HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – For the fifth time this season, sophomore Bailey Wiemann (Burlington, IA/Burlington) of the No. 9 Indian Hills Women's Soccer team has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week.

In the Warriors' lone match last week, Wiemann scored a pair of goals to lead Indian Hills to a 3-0 win over Motlow State Community College. The win closed out the regular season for the Warriors and helped set a new program record for wins in a season with 17. Wiemann's multi-goal effort was the sophomore's eighth such performance of the year.

Wiemann's accolades have helped Indian Hills to its best season in program history as the Warriors head to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Soccer Region XI Championship game on Saturday. As the No. 2 seed, Indian Hills will take on top-seeded and fifth-ranked Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA.

Wiemann has maintained a spot at the top of the NJCAA statistical leaderboards throughout the duration of the season and currently ranks second with 61 points on the year. Wiemann's 23 goals and 15 assists both rank third nationally.

The forward has moved up in the Indian Hills record books as well and currently ranks second in career goals (34), career points (93) and fourth in career assists (25).
