KROETEN STRIKES AGAIN TO LEAD WARRIORS

Murfreesboro, TN – Dare Kroeten (St. Louis Park, MN/St. Louis Park) powered No. 17 Indian Hills Women's Soccer to its second 1-0 victory in as many days as the sophomore put home the game-winner in the 75th minute. The Warriors improve to 3-1-0 on the year.

Kroeten, who scored the only goal of the match in the team's 1-0 victory over Wabash Valley College (IL) on Saturday, proved to be the deciding factor once again on Sunday. Kroeten's sixth career goal, and second of the season, came after fellow sophomore Abbie Bailey (Redditch, England/Arrowvale) collected a loose ball in the box and found Kroeten for the finishing touch.

Freshman keeper Sara Cogoil (Erbusco, Italy/IIS Luigi Einaudi) stopped a season-best five shots in net to blank the Bucks in a complete game shutout for the Warriors. Cogoli moves to 3-0-0 on the year.

As a team, the Warriors posted 10 shots, including five on target throughout the match. The Warriors also earned a pair of corner kicks in the win.

The Warriors return home to host Southeastern Community College at 3:30 PM on Wednesday afternoon.
