Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Women's Soccer team saw its four-game winning streak come to an end on Sunday with a 2-0 loss to No. 13 Western Wyoming Community College at home. The Warriors fall to 4-2-2 overall on the year.

Less than 24 hours removed from a 4-1 win over Iowa Lakes Community College, the Warriors allowed two first half goals to fall behind the Mustangs early. Western Wyoming was able to maintain the two-goal advantage for the remainder of the match and pick up its seventh win of the year with an overall record of 7-2-2.

Freshman keeper María Melendez (Aragua, Venezuela/Aragua Estudiantil) tallied four saves on the day in the loss for the Warriors.

The Warriors' homestand continues with a home date against Iowa Central Community College on September 14.
