Another 3-0 Sweep for IHCC

Ottumwa -- Indian Hills tuned up for this weekend's trip to a tournament in Kansas City, Kansas by sweeping Carl Sandburg (Ill.) College on Wednesday at the Hellyer Center. The Warriors took the opening set, 25-12, won the final eight points of the next set to win 25-12, and broke away from a late tie to finish off the visitors, 25-20.

Carl Sandburg had an early 5-0 lead in the third set and tied things up at 20-all, but the Warriors responded by scoring the final five points, the last three on kills by Camila Nicoletti.

Bailey Darnall and Nicoletti each had 13 kills to lead IHCC's attack. Nicoletti also had a team-high 11 digs. Yanjiao Zhao had 41 assists.

IHCC (12-3) heads to a tournament this weekend in which they will play four matches in two days. Three of the foes will be from Kansas and Indian Hills will also take on Iowa Lakes.
